I’m excited to start year 4 as an Eagle! After previously teaching Special Education, I have enjoyed my time getting to know each student at English Landing and supporting their social-emotional growth. I love exercising and traveling. I also enjoy spending time my husband and two children, Nell and Will!

This is my 12th year as a counselor at English Landing! In addition to counseling, I love teaching Zumba, digital scrapbooking and spending time with my family and two boys, Tommy and Maddox.

5. Guidance Curriculum
Mrs. Fullerton will visit K-1st classrooms bi-weekly
Ms. Seely will visit 2-3rd classrooms bi-weekly
Both will see 4th/5th grade during specials time
(alternating with library)
Topics include: Empathy & Respect, Listening with Attention, Using Self-Talk, Being Assertive, Respecting Similarities & Differences, Feelings, Understanding Different Perspectives, Emotion Management, Bullying, Solving Problems, Dealing with Peer Pressure, Mindfulness

6. Responsive Services
Students can meet with the counselor individually or in
groups on an as-needed basis as well as for weekly sessions.

7. Individual Planning
Kindergarten through 4th graders will focus on how life skills and leadership skills connect with the world of work and the 6 career paths.   5th graders will use the Missouri Connections website to explore career interests for middle school and beyond.

8. System Support
As the counselors, we participate in activities such as AVID, Operation School Bell, Park Hill Friends, Spring Testing coordination, and professional development. Through our work we aim to contribute to a safe and caring school culture.
