Industry Engagement: IBM Skills Academy, Renault-Nissan and Singapore Polytechnic Credentialing and micro-badging for Mobile App Development, Cyber Security, Analytics, Cloud, Business process and Big Data through IBM’s blended learning model and Virtual Labs Facilitated partnerships between Renault-Nissan India, and Singapore Polytechnic towards the development of mutually recognized standards, and assessment pathways in Automotive Manufacturing Partnerships: NSDC, IT-ITeS SSC, and NUS-ISS: NSDC is facilitating upskilling and international Recognition Validation Accreditation (RVA) frameworks and progression pathways between NSDC, IT-ITeS SSC, and NUS-ISS. The initiative focus on aligning Standards, Assessments Matrices, and Certifications for Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, and Big Data Analytics. Eon Reality: NSDC has partnered with Eon Reality, an organization that specializes in the use of Augmented and Virtual Reality in education and vocational training Veative: Veative has worked with NSDC on the use of high quality AR/VR content on the construction of Twin Pit toilets in rural areas. NASSCOM has identified 55 new job roles across 8 new technologies and 155 new age skills. Big data and analytics are examples of new technologies and market opportunities in these are expected to grow by nearly 8 times to 16 billion by 2025, AR & VR market is projected to grow at a CAGR of over 55% during 2016 – 2021
