5 Community Mobilisation
Community mobilisation is when the community recognises a problem that affects the whole community and works to solve that problem together. There is a difference between geo-spatial communities and special populations communities. An example: In the case of AIDS, it is recognised that AIDS affects many individuals in various populations and is a threat to everyone in the wider community. To solve the problem everyone needs to take action to prevent it and to support and care for those infected.
