What we did this week:
Introduced Classroom helpers:
Calendar Helper, Weather Helper,
Bell Ringer, Snack Helper and Class Greeter. The children will take turns each day rotating through these jobs.
Read “Shubert`s Big Voice” which talks about how we can use our words to tell someone how we are feeling-”Stop I do not like it when you do that.”
Reviewed the rules and routines throughout the day and how we transition from one activity to another.
We have been working really hard on recognizing our name and spelling it too-keep working on this at home! We did a lot of name tracing, coloring and dotting to reinforce their names.
The class practiced tracing shapes and cutting lines
We also got to know each others name a little better this week!

Please check take home folders every night
Homefun will come in their folders this week and then there after it will be on the website under HomeFun-please let me know if you can not print and would like them printed.
The kids have been loving songs by Koo Koo Kanga Roo-Check them out on Youtube!
