MUHAMMAD’S SUCCESSORS SPREAD ISLAM
Muhammad dies and leaves Abu-Bakr in charge of Islam. Each leader of Islam is called a CALIPH. Caliphs spread Islam and use JIHAD as a way to spread Islam.

Later a jihad becomes known as an armed struggle against non-believers

Conflict Whenever the Shi'a appointed a leader the Sunnis would assassinate him, and vice versa

In sum… Islam is a peaceful religion based on a love for Allah, one another, and tolerance for all However extremists exist in every religion
