A) Registration with Department of Social Development as a Residential care facility for Older Persons Health Norms/Standards for residential facilities for Older Persons dated July 2015 National Norms and Standards regarding the acceptable levels of service for Older Persons and service standards for Residential Facilities as in the Government Gazette April 1, 2010, No Guidelines available from Mrs. Debra Fortuin

B) Application for a licence as a Community facility as provided in Regulation 1467, 43 (1) of the Mental Health Care Act, (17 of 2002) Department of Health, Mental Health Care Act 2002 (Act 17 of 2002)-General regulations relating to the Mental Health Care Act, 2002: Amendment to Regulation 43 By the substitution of subregulation (1) of the following subregulation “(1) Any service (not directly run under the auspices of an organ of State and) which is not a designated psychiatric hospital or care and rehabilitation centre, but which provides residential care or day-care facilities for 5 people or more with mental disorders, must in terms of the Act-” Guidelines from Ms Morenza Malan ‘Tel:
