Add notes about the characters and themes, select quotations and explain them
Start planning personal/creative essay

4. Part 2
How do we see the theme of control so far in part 2? – Try to give specific examples (e.g. the war, the radio on the train etc)
Why does Faber feel guilty? How does Montag feel about this fact?
3. How do we see that Montag is becoming more confident and determined about resisting the government? – think about his attitude to the books, Faber and his acknowledgement that he stole the book 4. What are the three most important thing we learn about Faber at this point?

Before you write, you need the following:

SETTING: where and when does it take place
