ORDER OF THE DAY Keynote one – Jon Taylor from St Andrew’s Healthcare Keynote two – Dr Damian Milton from University of Kent Coffee Break at about 11.30 Workshops begin at 11.45 Lunch at 1.15 – 2.00 (some delegates have volunteered to take part in a short Focus Group discussion linked with the external review of MAPA during lunch – they know who they are) Keynote three – Future improvements to your MAPA training Afternoon workshops begin at 2.45 Meet back in the main room at 4.15 Anticipate the conference will close at 4.30 (we decided not to have an afternoon coffee break so people can get away a bit earlier) Hashtag for the day is #CPIConf17 CHANGES TO THE PUBLISHED PROGRAMME Workshop: “Understanding and Avoiding Power Struggles” has now changed to: “Delivering Refreshers: Customisation to Engage Your Staff”. Afternoon Keynote will be delivered by Chris Sheehan instead of Chris Stirling.

ACQUISITION OF PIVOTAL March saw the acquisition of Pivotal Education. Award-winning education consultancy and training company Values and expertise a perfect match. We’ll be able to extend and deepen our reach offering complementary services to the Education sector. Exciting times ahead. FUTURE IMPROVEMENTS TO MAPA This afternoon’s keynote will look at how the CPI Development Team is responding to a changing training environment including a blended learning option that will enable CIs to offer MAPA online to their staff teams.
