What is colour made of? One model for defining colours is the HSV model: HUE SATURATION VALUE (also called lightness or brightness)

15 Saturation The purity of a color. High saturation colors look rich and full. Low saturation colors look dull and grayish.

Value is the lightness or darkness of a color.
