Membership Mandates: Build infrastructure Determine true number of potential members Establish a marketing & Communications Plan Better Data and Metrics Accomplishments: Strengthened the Regional Member Council and Campus Contact network Conducted a statewide administrative census Began using new marketing tactics and building a communication processes Re-designed the Member Survey and identified better metrics

Organizational Structure Mandates: Board Development Board Training on ACCCA Finances Establish Succession Planning Process Establish New Policy and Procedures Manual Update ACCCA Constitution Accomplishments: Established the Board Development Committee (BDC) and applied Strengths Finder to Board training Provided a “Fiscal Primer” for Board members [Sept. 2017] Provided Succession Plan Outline and process to Board [Jan. 2018] Established Board Policies Manual and new Operating Policies and Processes manuals in Got approval from members for revised Constitution [Feb. 2018]

Professional Development Mandates: Improve Annual Conference Strategic review of program sustainability Improve data and metrics on those who take our programs Standardize the vetting process Monitor the programs of others, learn what you can to avoid duplication and eliminate gaps Accomplishments: Established MDC with outstanding leaders for each program Each program is critically reviewed each year and evaluations for programs updated to provide better data to inform future content Vetting process organized along a points system and is being applied across programs EXTREMELY Successful Conference

Advocacy Mandates: Engage affiliates and make CFLA more representative Identify issues to pursue Provide information and content to educate members Accomplishments: The CFLA is representative of most key administrative groups Members of the CFLA, our member survey data and Advocate inform Commission regarding issues to pursue Presentations at ACCCA and other events as well as weekly publication regularly informs members

Group Work Guidelines Form 4 Groups. Commission/Committee Chairs will be assigned, but others may self-select Appoint a lead to report out. Staff will take notes and provide background as appropriate Review materials: Strategic Planning Tracking Sheet and Data Packet Discuss existing goals and tasks, current status, data points and related questions to: Determine if task/goal is still applicable to the Strategic Area Revise or remove as needed or add additional tasks or goals as appropriate Prepare recommendations for change, including framing any new tasks or goals
