ERASMUS+ The house i chose is located at the heart of the city, at Ogl and Kontaratou street. Before its demolition it used to be one of the few neoclassic houses at the center of the city. The house has been abandoned every since his owner, a local politician, passed away. Although the structure is very impressive, the presence of more modern and contemporary block of flats, bars and entertaining centers make the house make out and as a result not to fit with the personality of the area anymore. As it was requested the new building is made of by new and pioneer materials in order to use wisely and efficiently natural resources and to reduce energy consumption. At the next slides you will watch the building phase ,the materials which are used for its reconstruction but also why we selected them. Hope you like it. – Rafaela Galekou
