God cannot bless evil – it would make him complicit

It’s exactly what Jesus said (Jn 3:36, Lk 14:26f)
Faith & love of God is expressed in obedience
Love and serve – with “heart” and “soul”
No half measure.

Think deception is a problem of the MIND
It is wrong information or reasoning
Moses: “take care lest your HEART be deceived”

Our insecurities, desires for status, acceptance, …

We can pretend that they are not what they are.

We protect it through vigilance and training.
