ER-phagy receptors that have been identified are shown. Saccharomyces cerevisiae have Atg39 and Atg40, whereas mammals have FAM134B, SEC62, RTN3, and CCPG1. All of these contain at least one LC3-interacting region (LIR) or Atg8-interacting motif (AIM). Additionally, CCPG1 has two FIP200-interacting regions (FIRs), and Atg39 has one Atg11-binding region (11BR). The Atg11-binding region in Atg40 is not yet identified.
