Kristallnacht was a night when Nazis attacked Jewish homes, businesses, and synagogues.

German Jews were encouraged then forced to emigrate from Germany.
America took in 100,000 Jews including Albert Einstein.
When they couldn’t emigrate all Jews, they were forced into ghettos.

Hitler turned to the final solution because he grew impatient waiting for Jews to die from starvation and disease in the ghettos.
Genocide is the systematic killing of an entire people.
Jews who survived the killing squads were either taken to concentration camps or slave-labor prisons.
Six million Jews died during the Holocaust.
