Display on the side of your desk the following: MLA notes 8 ways to start a sentence from the paragraph and “Phaethon” Bell-Ringer Friday: nonstop writing --it will be lots of sentences if you just write. Don’t worry about T.S. etc. etc. – just write sentences Read these questions—then just write. Topic:Writing When & why do you write? How many hours per week do you spend writing?(not at school) How does that compare to other things you do(practicing instruments, sports, video games, etc.? ) Why do you think that might be? What does the amount of time you spend writing say about why it may not get easier. How do you feel about writing? Do you like to share your writing? Why or why not? What type of writing is easiest or most difficult? What type of writing makes you feel happy?
