1. Army Child, Youth & School Services School Support Strategy
Reflect school support command emphasis, i.e., CYS Services name change & FMWRC Division
Identify, develop/modify and implement DoD/Army policies, processes and initiatives that strengthen School Strategy focus areas: support, advocacy, transition, and marketing
Utilize federal, state, & private organization educational resources to benefit military students
Increase outreach and training opportunities for parents, educators, students, military leaders, and other stakeholders
Support Garrison Commanders and School Districts
Provide School Liaison Officers with strong educational background and experience
Increase involvement with School Boards and Local Education Agencies
Evaluate Annual Yearly Progress and Report (No Child Left Behind)
Promote Impact Aid for school districts
Improve availability of Student and Soldier data and demographics for decision making
