CASCADE FUNDING WORKSHOP - EUROPEAN ROBOTICS FORUM HORSE OBJECTIVES HORSE project aims to build a new flexible model of smart factory 1 involving collaboration of humans, robots, AGV’s and machinery to realize industrial tasks in an efficient manner. 2 Robotics assistance will improve : operators conditions of work, worker’s safety quality and production effectiveness 3

Technical Framework Integrated, Process-oriented management model for control of the production line and automatic resource allocation/dynamic reallocation (BPM) OSGI based (IoT) for remote control of production resources (humans, robots) (all resources are accessible in the same manner) Multilayer safety (from the robot to the system level) and supporting automonous and effective cooperation between robots and humans with no barriers Easy and flexible teaching of new tasks to robots

Value of Cascading Funding
CASCADE FUNDING WORKSHOP - EUROPEAN ROBOTICS FORUM Value of Cascading Funding 1.4 M Euro will be used to support 7-9 Experiments. 33 proposals have been received at the deadline of 5 March Focus sought: Validating and refining the framework in real industrial settings involving nearly autonomous robotics or human-robot collaboration. Extending the framework by providing new functionalities either in terms of software components or in terms of hardware components (integrating new robots). Evaluating the impact of HORSE on the European manufacturing sector: demonstrating the reusability/generalisability of the use cases scenarios in general sense for the industrial applications detailing the impact in the specific industry.
