Teachers participating in tasting lessons receive funds to do a cooking activity in the classroom.

Schools can get a wagon of special equipment to use for active play parties in place of treats for celebrations and rewards.

6. School Gardens
Partner with La Semilla Food Center to build school gardens. Partner with Dona Ana Cooperative Extension to set-up in-class hydroponic gardens.

7. Salad Bar Promotion
Art/slogan contests Writing contests Signage Mini lessons taught at the salad bar

8. Nutrislice
Provide nutrition education through district’s online school meal website.
