2 Warm- up- Label Parts of Speech
Sarah likes to swim. She is a nice girl. We have a project to do.

3 Prepositions Preposition: a word that tells about a noun. A preposition is always part of a phrase. Examples: in, of , to, on , about, below, above, like, from, without, by, off, near, with.

Some people have depicted insects in art. Beetle images decorate the jewelry of many cultures. Some believed that dreams come from a butterfly. Ants share food between two nestmates. Ants share food among all the colony members.

Name the preposition And the Object of the preposition

13 P- With OP- Hot fudge I ate a chocolate sundae with hot fudge.

14 P- from OP- Chicago Megan moved here from Chicago.

15 P- By OP- School She drove by the school.

16 P- At OP- home Mrs. Goins is at home sick.

17 P- Like OP- Apples I eat lots of fruit, like apples.
