2. Club Objectives
Create a safe, fun, developmental and competitive lacrosse experience for all players.
Build a positive and character building sports environment
Teach sportsmanship, respect and the power of teamwork
Help each girl develop to her fullest potential

3. USCGLAX Teams
US Lacrosse has established age guidelines for fair playing and skill development. For the 2019 season, the teams are:
U8: (Clinics Only) 1st and 2nd graders, 6 to 8 years old .
U10: 3rd and 4th graders, 7 to 10 years old.
U12: 5th and 6th graders (Boyce), 11 to 14 years old. Modified or No Checking.
U14: 7th and 8th graders (Ft. Couch), 12 to 15 years old. Full Checking team.

4. Practices (TBD)
All practices usually at Ft. Couch and begin outside in March/April and run through May.
4 Indoor Practices for USCGLAX Teams. Location & Dates TBD.
Practice times based off of 2018 Season. Coaches may be changing the practice times and days listed below.
U10: Tues & Thurs 5:30 – 6:30 PM
U12: Wed & Fri from 4:30 – 5:30 PM
U14: Mon, Wed, Fri from 5:30 – 7:00 PM
Plan to hold “Open Gym” at USC HS Gymnasium on Sat. 8 PM during Winter Season

5. LAX Games Referees and EMTs at all U14 and U12 games
Jr. Refs at all U10 games
12 players including a goalkeeper
Games typically to be played on Saturdays and some Tuesdays and Fridays (WPIAL plays M/T/W/TH)
Home field is either Boyce or Ft. Couch fields

9. G.O.L.D League
USCGLAX will again participate in the Girls Of LAX Development (G.O.L.D.) League.
GOLD will help USC Girls Lacrosse become aligned with the U.S. Lacrosse practices and development for the girls.
We will be playing teams such as Mt. Lebanon, North Allegheny, Pine Richland, Sewickley Valley, Peters Shadyside, & Ellis.
**USCGLAX can still play Bethel, Cannon Mac, CV & South
Fayette who are in WPLSA at our home fields.

10. 2019 Coaches Brittany Whiteside will return to coach our U14 Girls
Jimmy Moss will return to coach the U12 Girls
Tom Tear will move to the HC position for the U10 Girls.
We would like to ask 1 or 2 parents per team to serve as Team Managers who will help with team communications, practices, and games.

Registration to begin in December 1st and close February 3rd. After the 3rd registrations will be subject to a processing late fee.

Need to join US Lacrosse for $25 (included on website)
