Lectures, assignments, and discussions
Bayes decision theory versus kNN
Linear Regression
K-Means Clustering
Objective – provide students with basic understanding of the algorithms

3. Emerging IT1-IT2 Team Presentations
At the end of the second semester, teams will combine the team presentations from both semesters into a Research Day Conference paper

Present at Research Day Conference
6-8 pages in Research Day Conference format
