2. VEHICLE ACCIDENT DETECTION SYSTEM WITH LIVE TRACKING
Description
In this project we will use a system that will monitor the position of the vehicle with the use of GPS which is global positioning system. GPS is used to track the location of the object on which it is embedded.
The purpose of this project is to monitor the status of the vehicle wirelessly. In case an accident is detected, a notification regarding this will be generated.
For detecting accidents a system consisting of vibration sensor will be used. The system will consist of 2 vibration sensor, one at the front and another at the back.
The complete system can be used to track the location of vehicle in real time. The location will be shown on the cloud server.
To control the function of all these sensors and devices a microcontroller will be used. The microcontroller will have a Wi-Fi module in to connect the whole system with the cloud server.
This system has variety of application in real world and now a day’s all vehicles are equipped with GPS to track the vehicle. This system will serve the purpose of security system as well as will have feature to notify the close ones in case of accident.

The working of this system is based on Internet of Things. The system will be connected to a cloud server. This will help us to monitor the live status and location of the vehicle.
The system will include a sub-system which will have vibration sensors to detect any kind of accidents.
The whole system will be powered through the battery of the vehicle itself hence no worries to charge the battery. This will make the system active 24*7.
The system will alert for accidents even if the vehicle is parked and some other vehicle hits it.
The vibration sensor will detect the vibrations in case of accident and send the data to the microcontroller.
The microcontroller will then take the data from the GPS which will be the current location of the vehicle and will send it to the cloud server using Wi-Fi module.
The server will generate an alert notification to the user about the accident and the current location of the vehicle.

The vehicle can be traced at anytime from anywhere in the world.
The system will alert in case of accident.
The system will be active 24*7 even if the vehicle is parked.
No worries to charge the battery of the system as this will be powered from the battery of the vehicle itself.
The vehicle can be located in case of theft of vehicle.
