Safety Achieved zero LTI’s since November. Overburden No further overburden works until July/August 2017 Pit update Mine plan now has pit moving eastward rather than onto the next bench level Processing Continue to increase output Projects in place to further increase plant availability Started to develop the scalpings market People Enterprise Agreement bargaining process has been completed Recruitment for equipment operators currently underway 3

No loss time injuries Unfortunately a number of injuries 3 in relation to hands, 2 muscle strains – shoulder and leg DPI audit on ground stability 4

Quarterly monitoring round undertaken in December 2016 and March 2017 For Dec 3 sites were sampled due to rain Only 2 sites sampled for March, even with all the rain no incoming flow from offsite Analyses compared to ADWG (health) guideline value, ADWG (aesthetic)guideline value, ANZECC (ecosystem)guideline value, ANZECC (primary contact)guideline value For Dec, results are in compliance with the exception of fecal coliforms in Tangarang Creek and total nitrogen in both the main dam and the Creek. For March results are in compliance with the exception of total nitrogen in both the main dam and the Creek. Next sample round June 2017 21
