5. Age Structure:
Liverpool’s population is a young one with some 157,900 people under the age of 25. This is 30.7% of the total population.
The biggest increase in Liverpool’s population since has occurred in the population aged 20-29, while there have also been sizeable increases in those aged years and 75 and over. By contrast, the city’s populations aged years, years and years have all decreased over the last 10 years.
