7. How is the course structured?
Each student has a specialist biology, chemistry and physics teacher. During years 10 & 11 students will study the following:
Biology – Key concepts + 8 topics + 6 core practicals
Chemistry – Key concepts + 7 topics + 5 core practicals
Physics – key concepts + 12 topics + 7 core practicals

9. Combined Science textbook OR Revision Guide
Text books or revision guides support the work done class.
The books can keep the until the students take their exams in year 11.
After the exams at the end of year 11, the books must be returned to KNGS science department.
If the book is lost a replacement copy currently costs £ The revision guide costs £5.50.

There will be a mixture of multiple-choice, short answer questions, calculations and long answer questions.
