What you need: a pencil, a text book, and a scavenger hunt sheet Time to work: minutes Then what? Your row will get together to answer 3 questions- you will have about 10 min. Each correct answer is worth 1 EC point toward your 1st assignment, Journal #1  Brainstorm: why “getting to know” your text book can be helpful….

In other words, What is the pattern of organization? Answer in one complete sentence for a point. #2: In each UNIT, there seems to be a special type of literary format which is “focused” upon. List 6 different types of formats:
