LCEF Sunday “Grounded in Faith”
Today, LCEF Sunday, we lift up the ministry of Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) – an arm of the LCMS that partners with churches and schools by offering investments to support customized loans and ministry services. “Grounded in Faith”

“Grounded in Faith” Just as coffee and chocolate pair perfectly together, so does LCEF and LCMS ministries. LCEF strives to stay grounded in their mission to be the preferred provider for loans, support services and investment opportunities. This year’s LCEF Sunday theme is “Grounded in Faith.” LCEF strives to stay grounded and faithful in its mission to be the preferred provider for loans, services and investments.

Faith and Work Enterprises, Baltimore, Md.
On LCEF Sunday, we are lifting up LCEF Ministry Partnerships, especially Faith and Work Enterprises, Baltimore, Md. “Be Blessed” chocolate bars and “This is Most Certainly Brew” grounded coffee. LCEF celebrates ministry partnerships just like the exciting one with Faith and Work Enterprises in Baltimore, Md. As a thank you for hosting LCEF Sunday, your Advocate (that’s me) received chocolate bars from Faith and Work Enterprises and “Lutheran” This is Most Certainly Brew (grounded) coffee.

“Grounded in Faith” Only by your investment partnerships can LCEF assist ministries for outreach. Through LCEF’s Kaleidoscope Fund, Faith and Work Enterprises have created a unique outreach ministry opportunity for Baltimore’s inner city men to work as chocolatiers making “Be Blessed” chocolate bars while being fed the saving gospel message of Jesus. Though LCEF’s Kaleidoscope Fund, Faith and Work Enterprises received a grant to help them create a unique “back to work” outreach ministry opportunity for inner city men to work as Chocolatiers. They are producing “Be Blessed” chocolate bars while being fed the message of Jesus on a daily basis. But it is only by your investments that LCEF can partner in these important ways with ministries throughout the country.

Other LCEF ministry partnerships in the Southeastern District.
Not only is LCEF a partner with Faith and Work Enterprises, but also many other ministries – very recently, Vine & Branches, Virginia Mekane Yesus and All Saints.
