Who - We Are
Tower Hill Specialty is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tower Hill Insurance Group (“THIG”). THIG was founded in 1972 and is currently one of Florida’s largest and most successful residential property insurers.
THIG is a strongly capitalized, privately held organization, backed by a solid reputation for providing stable, responsible and consistent service to residential and commercial markets in Florida.
Utilizing this experience and financial strength, THIG saw a unique opportunity to diversify risk and expand beyond Florida. Tower Hill Specialty (“THS”) was formed.
THS focuses on providing a fully admitted line of residential property products to underserved markets. Products that are unavailable or intentionally overpriced by other regional/national/specialty carriers.

What - We Do
We offer residential property products: Homeowners (HO3), Dwelling (DP3, DP1, Vacant), Manufactured Home (Comprehensive) and Condominium (HO6). High Value Homeowners and HO4 (Renters) coming soon.
We cover homes over 80 years of age (no limit) if the roof, electrical and plumbing have been updated within the last 20 years.
THS covers the entire range of residential property products. Coverage A values from $5,000 to $1,000,000. All protection classes, all occupancies, and older homes. We cover the gamut and fill-in the gaps.
We do not routinely compete with standard companies. Our focus is not their focus. “We serve the underserved”.

When - To Use Us _
For all residential property risks falling near or outside the standard market.
When an applicant has prior losses. Up to 3 losses in 3 years (some restrictions).
For Replacement Cost on HO3 and DP3 up to 80 years of age (older if updated).
For Manufactured Homes (Replacement Cost up to 30 years of age).
In Student Housing situations - up to 4 students per property. (Indiana only at this time).
For short term rentals and seasonal risks (incl. Airbnb, VRBO, etc.).

Where - We Differ
We offer a truly comprehensive ISO form HO-3 product with full water and water back-up coverage. Up to 80 year of age. (Renovated/updated) homes remove age restrictions.) Your client no longer needs to settle for Named Peril coverage with ACV loss settlement for homes that may not qualify for the standard market.
Our system (RPM) is state-of-the-art, simple, intuitive and real-time, providing “within minutes” quick quote capability.
“No touch/low touch” processing. The vast majority of risks glide through smoothly from quote to issuance with no human interaction required.
We will consider a previous fire, theft or liability loss when others may not.
Animal Liability limit up to $500,000 is available, along with a liability exclusion for our limited restricted breed list.
