Greek art portrays the human figure as: Ideal beauty, godlike qualities, naked form, fluid (movement).

Mathematics What math formulas were invented by Greeks?
Pythagorean Theorem- find the sides of a right triangle. Pi is used to find the circumference of a circle. What were formulas used for?- to build stronger and bigger buildings.

Government What type of gov’t did the Greeks develop? Democracy Who has the power and how do they prove this? People have the power to vote on laws and actions. -Pericles known for extending democracy and power to vote to more Greeks.

Theatre Theater and drama originally begin as a way to celebrate the Gods. -Comedies and tragedies were earliest genres of Greek theater Who were the actors? All played by men.
