2 Why would a Biology Major want to earn an MBA?
Per a recent Wall Street Journal article, at no time in history has science and technology been more important, which also creates a substantial demand for professionals in these fields who also possess communication, leadership, decision-making and business- analytical skills.

3 Linking the FSC MBA Program to Skills Desired by Employers
Our MBA program understands and focuses on these skills desired by employers recently highlighted in the Job Outlook report from the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). Each of our professors consciously builds their course with a purpose to address these top four skills, to include creative problem solving, another focus of our program, Times are changing and becoming more competitive every day in the global marketplace. We recognize that, which leads to another common theme in our courses.

6 “4 + 1” FSC MBA Program Allows candidates to begin graduate coursework immediately Save Significant Investment Save Time

7 Early Admission (4+1 MBA)
Must have 93+ credit hours completed at the start of the program. GPA of overall (cumulative) and acceptable GRE/GMAT equivalent score. Students are encouraged to apply for admission during their junior year. MBA Director Approval

8 Program Costs Admitted undergraduate students will be allowed to complete a maximum of 12 credit hours of graduate work which count toward their undergraduate and MBA degree requirements. Any MBA courses attempted in the fall or spring semesters before receiving the undergraduate degree will be charged at the traditional undergraduate full- time tuition rate. Any taken in a summer semester before receiving the undergraduate degree will be charged at the traditional undergraduate summer tuition rate. Graduate courses taken after the student receives their undergraduate degree will be billed at the current MBA per credit hour rate.

9 Financial Aid Undergraduate financial aid is available during enrollment prior to undergraduate graduation. After a student graduates with an undergraduate degree, graduate financial aid will become available. For more information on graduate program financial aid, contact the Financial Aid Office at

10 Academic Advisor From the moment you enroll, the MBA Director will be assigned as your secondary Academic Advisor to see you through your graduate experience from start to finish. Your advisors will help you develop an educational plan that matches your schedule and priorities.

11 Convenient Schedule All core classes and most elective offerings can be completed online or in the Saturday-hybrid format, which meets two Saturdays per month with remaining coursework completed online.
