Who were the Brothers grimm? By avery reed
A fairy tale is a quest story that usually involves magic, imaginary creatures, talking animals, and a hero overcoming evil. They are usually set a long time ago and begin with ‘once upon a time’ The Brothers loved fairy tales and feared that if they did not write them down, they would be forgotten They searched in bookstores and libraries for many years until they had the idea to search for stortellers The German stories they collected included: Snow White, Cinderella, Briar Rose, Tom Thumb and many more….though these versions may be more violent than the ones we are used to today Check out this biography…or choose from dozens of others from the ‘Who Was’ or ‘What Was’ series
