Active and Passive prospects are being courted Candidates are being pin-pointed in unique places, doing unique things Employers are always searching for ideas and people…find out how! NETWORK! NETWORK! NETWORK! Vertically specific sites (SHRM, IEEE, etc.) Corporate web sites (Ben & Jerry’s, PWC, etc.) Giant career management hubs (Monster, HotJobs, etc.)

Career Center NETWORK, NETWORK, NETWORK! The Internet is waiting----jump right in! Think entrepreneurial (if you can’t find it, start it!) Be Active … Be Passive … Be Alert Ask lots of questions Be honest with yourself and with your potential employer It’s NEVER “just a job”
