The radar takes a measurement every 25cm from the radar out to the instrumented range of 800m.
With approximately 100 times less emitted power than a conventional mobile phone, the radar is entirely safe to operate. Its compact size and undemanding power and communications requirements make it easy to install, with no expensive maintenance regime.
The radar scans in 360° and will perform to specification in all weather and light conditions, 24 hours a day. It works more effectively than laser technology in rain, fog, smoke, etc. It is also unique in its effectiveness as a sensor over expanses of water.
The radar is a line of sight sensor. It will not see through things that light does not penetrate. If you cannot see through it the radar will not. However, it will detect and track intruders through a chain link fence.
