Leader: British General assisted by Washington Action: - British return to attack Fort Duquesne British are ambushed and flee GW rallies his troops and keeps fighting Outcome: GW is a hero and the British lose status in colonists eyes

9 Outcomes of the War British eventually win and
claim ALL of North America east of the Mississippi

10 Outcomes of the War Native Americans lose land and have a hard time negotiating with British

11 Outcomes of the War Salutary Neglect is over
Britain now has all their attention directed at their North American Colonies
