Alumni Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities: ALUMNI COORDINATOR
Create and maintain the spreadsheet in the drive that includes all Alumni information Manage the newsletter each semester that will inform of socials/fundraisers Coordinate Alumni Day CPP PIHRA Participate in General Meetings and Executive Board Meetings. Participate in all CPP PIHRA’s socials and fundraising events. Assist with SHRM Merit Award. Assist with Evening with Industry. Schedule: Must attend General Meetings on Tuesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. Must attend Executive Board Meetings on Thursdays from 12:00 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. Must attend the majority of PIHRA events Job Purpose: The Alumni Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining a professional network with Cal Poly PIHRA Alumni. The duty of the Alumni Coordinator is to assist Executive Board Members with maintaining a record of past PIHRA members. More Details At::

Career Development Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities: Career Development Coordinator Work together with the Career Center and University to provide awareness of all resources available to members. Prepare members for the job process through mock interviews and resumaniacs. Develop and oversee an annual event utilizing Human Resources expertise to prepare members for the job search process. Work closely with the Executive Board to announce any internship and job opportunities for members. Facilitate workshops that show members how to utilize resources like Handshake and LinkedIn. Schedule: Must attend General Meetings on Tuesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. Must attend Executive Board Meetings on Thursdays from 12:00 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. Must attend the majority of PIHRA events. Job Purpose: The Career Development Coordinator will assist members to prepare them for job readiness. They are the expert and point of contact for all members regarding resume, interview, and the job search process. The Career Development Coordinator will teach members the how to strategically utilize resources on and off campus such as Handshake and LinkedIn. More Details At:

An overnight event where teams of six undergraduate or graduate students from various colleges compete in both oral and written presentations Location: Cal State University San Marcos When: November 16-18 We are recruiting members! Cherrie Peters: Career Counselor With over 17 years’ experience in Higher Education and the Career Center environment, her extensive knowledge of the many facets of Career Centers in higher education is an asset to Cal Poly Pomona. Outstanding Staff at Cal Poly Pomona for Cherrie oversees the Peer Advisor program for the Career Center which provides students with Drop In Advising.
