Sofia's Mommi will make sure costs are reduced enough to manage profits and still create quality within the operations. Costs such as employees will be looked upon greatly by making sure they are not slacking during work time. Owners will oversee the costs of doing business and make sure there are no hidden costs from its business partners. Sofia’ business organization is important to enhance the companies overall systems. By looking upon costs in transactions it can increase profitability.

Legal and Ethical Issues
Legal and ethical issues arise in companies between relationships of: customers, managers, employees, stockholders, suppliers, distributors, community, society, and nation state. Customers want to make sure they are compensated fairly for their contribution. Managers need to be watched because history has shown corrupt managers steal funds from the companies they run. Stockholders want control over the company their money is invested in and demand ethical actions within the company. Suppliers and distributors are watched to stop problems such as deceptive price fixing.

Sofia’s Mommi Ethics Sofia’s Mommi will be in front of all its obligations to those involve with the company. All parties will be treated fairly and legally. Sofia’s Mommi reputation and what it stands for is the first mission and by giving everyone a set of rules and regulations, legal and ethical problems, if at all will be minimum and not to be tolerated. All staff will be expected to sign a code of conduct policy in their employee handbook. Sofia’s Mommi legal and ethical stature will be highly guarded because we want to keep our liabilities to a minimum. Our mission is to have a great reputation because the company is expected to grow with a legacy and a brand name. Legal and ethics will be regulated through parties abiding a code of conduct.

Business Culture Culture is a shared value that creates an organization within the company. The sources that form the culture come from: values of the founders, organizational socialization, ceremonies and rites, stories and languages. A strong culture leads to highly motivated peoples of the company.

Sofia’s Mommi Culture Sofia’s Mommi culture is about success and teamwork. In order for a business to grow and expand, a strong internal culture will be needed. The culture of a business important to provide the reputation of its name. Sofia’s Mommi is about success and teamwork which will be displayed how the business is run and operated.

Types of Motivation There are several types of motivation and each their own characteristic. The types of motivations are dictated by Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.

AVJ’s Motivation The first and most important type of motivation that AVJ will focus on is self actualization. People within the company are there to fulfill a vision and challenge themselves and their surrounding environment. By accomplishing new projects consistently, those in the company will feel responsible for its success. Using Maslow’s Hierarchy, AVJ’s type of motivation is evident by how the people within the company are selected. We will motivate the entrepreneurs, managers, and employees through challenges they want.

Human Resource Management
Human Resource Management provide a service that helps the company to acquire high quality employees. It also determines how a company makes its decisions.

AVJ’s Human Resources Our Human Resources department will make sure to filter the employees and other personnel to fit the criteria of the companies values and needs. Technology will surely be utilized for background checks and ensure safety. Training will be handled on a case by case business because experience in the area will be needed. Human Resources and its technological sources will be used to filter the best people to be hired. It will handle training and development for the individual. It will also handle all the questions and concern in regards to relations.

Technology Technology is used to make business much more efficient in every aspect of its systems. There are five applications that have the biggest impact in businesses. The five applications are: (1) TP Systems, (2) KM systems, (3) Artificial Intelligence, (4) ER planning, and (5) e-commerce.

AVJ’s Technology Technology will be one of the most important aspects in efficiency within the company. Technology is an important role in hiring workers, analysis, transactions, and productivity. AVJ will be very reliant the use of the technology so results will be accomplished with more speed and quality. Technology plays an important in all aspects of the company. It will be needed to compete with other companies and provide speed and quality.

There is a three step process in regards to operations and materials management. Step 1: Input stage (raw materials, components, labor, and customers) Step 2: Operations stage (skills, knowledge, machines, experts) Step 3: Output stage (goods and services)

AVJ’s Operations and Materials Management
Though AVJ does not produce any products, the operations management is still important. AVJ is a company that acquires income producing real estate and therefore needs a strong management for its property portfolio. We have a strong service in regards to the relationships with its tenants and investors. By ensuring satisfaction with the parties involved in the operations, it will produce more income than its competitors. The operations management will provide a strong service to its customers by having the well skilled and experience of its managers. Its strong focus on skills will provide a strong output and positive results.
