James SHANNON RA44 – BUD 16 Sept 2010
2
Talk to your partners 100 airlines in this room
You interline with others that aren’t here today We’ll be contacting them, but you also need to tell them to start preparing now SIS-RA44-Breakout Wrapup 16 September 2010
3
SIS is an RA invoicing platform
SIS ≠ Revenue Accounting System SIS ≠ ICH SIS ≠ Revenue Accounting Manual SIS ≠ ACH Manual SIS ≠ UATP Rules SIS supports and transports these types of billings, but we don’t make the rules SIS-RA44-Breakout Wrapup 16 September 2010
4
UATP SIS will support UATP
More in-depth information will be next month (ICH UG 2010 in KUL) SIS-RA44-Breakout Wrapup 16 September 2010
5
Supporting Document Storage
IS will store supporting documents for operational reasons only As long as something could be acted upon (ie, rejected), the supporting documents will be stored in IS (E.g. Rejections) 6 month rejection period + 2 month buffer = 8 months of storage 1st rejection on 1 Jan supporting docs deleted in August Unless there is a 2nd rejection (e.g. 1 March) 8 month storage resets and supporting docs will be deleted in October SIS-RA44-Breakout Wrapup 16 September 2010
6
Sending claims (ICH F12 or ACH Recap)
IS will submit a claim on your behalf for all IS billings (to ICH or ACH) This applies to IS-WEB submissions even if you’re not fully migrated Do not submit duplicate claims SIS-RA44-Breakout Wrapup 16 September 2010
7
Validation & Submission Time limits
File validation will take up to four hours (two on average) It is OK to submit a file right before the submission deadline (e.g. 5pm YMQ time) – even if file validation isn’t completed until later But be aware of validation failures – you will not have an opportunity to correct errors after the deadline (and thus no settlement that period) SIS-RA44-Breakout Wrapup 16 September 2010
8
Supporting Info ≠ Supporting Docs
Supporting documents are files like scanned images Supporting info can be data. E.g. A list of coupons (coupon breakdown) on a rejection memo Prorate ladder text Supporting info includes supporting documents, but you have to remember that just because data is required, that data doesn’t need to be attached as a supporting document SIS will validate supporting data to a certain extent, but not supporting document SIS-RA44-Breakout Wrapup 16 September 2010

Connectivity Testing of IDEC file
If you use iiNet, you will not need to test connectivity for your old IDEC file (You will still need to test connectivity for any IS-IDEC or IS-XML files you will upload) SIS-RA44-Breakout Wrapup 16 September 2010
10
Cost for recertification
If you do not pass during the free certification slots (2 or 3 as discussed yesterday), you still need to certify your file and will have to pay extra for this This will be based on effort (per day charge from Kale) Typically $1500 SIS-RA44-Breakout Wrapup 16 September 2010
11
Test files November 2010 – Dummy billing files available for download
Will be a general public file, with instructions on how to modify it to load into your system Sandbox available July 2011 available to all (discussed yesterday) * Opportunity to download a fake billing file (but addressed to you) After go-live (September 2011) * You can choose to download production billing file with real data and use this for testing (even before you migrate) * Must sign the participation agreement SIS-RA44-Breakout Wrapup 16 September 2010
