Mechanical smoke control
Interactive Mechanical smoke control Pressurisation Designed, installed and commissioned to British Standard BS EN :2005 Class A system – means of escape. Defend in place To maintain a pressure within the stair of 50Pa (with all doors closed) To provide an open door velocity of 0.75 meters per second through the stair door on the fire floor (all other doors closed) “Providing Engineered & Code Compliant Smoke Control Solutions” with systems partner

Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005?
Interactive Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005? Who is responsible for meeting the order? Under the order, anyone who has control of premises or anyone who has a degree of control over certain areas or systems may be a ‘responsible person’. Fire authorities no longer issue fire certificates and those previously in force will have no legal status. Enforcing the order Fire authorities will be the main agency responsible for enforcing all fire-safety legislation in non-domestic premises including common parts of blocks of flats. If there is a very serious risk to life, the fire authority can issue a notice preventing the premises being used for certain things (such as sleeping), or preventing people from using all or part of the premises. This power is shared with housing authorities in properties which several households live in. “Providing Engineered & Code Compliant Smoke Control Solutions” with systems partner

“If a fire broke out could the occupants escape safely?”
Interactive Is it safe? To ensure that a building is safe to be occupied is not always easy, regulations and guidance change. However the basic principal applies – “If a fire broke out could the occupants escape safely?” The Interactive ‘SmokEvac’ system provides a safe and simple method of protecting the primary egress route. “Providing Engineered & Code Compliant Smoke Control Solutions” with systems partner
