Warm Up Monday, March 14, 2016 Copy the following definition into the grammar section of your binder. A fragment is a group of words that looks like a sentence but is missing a subject, a verb, or a complete thought; therefore, it is an incomplete sentence. Directions: Look at each group of words. Number Label each group as either a fragment or a complete sentence. If the words are a fragment, correct the fragment. Some students enjoyed researching and reading more than the write-up.
