2. As the believer’s appetite grows, Christ gives nourishment thru His Word, prayer & fellowship.

1. The Lord has saved us, that is ultimate mercy.
2. Not to show mercy in our dealings with others makes us a contradiction to God.

1. Purity is freedom from sin.
2. If the heart is pure, so will be all that comes from it.

1. A peacemaker is one who settles a dispute between warring parties.
2. Few traits distinguish a Christian from a non-Christian as much as peacemaking.

1. There is joy in the suffering caused by others.
a. general harassment – “persecute”
