2 Combined science Your children will sit 6 science exams in total. 2 from each discipline (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). The length and marks available are shown in this example for Biology. They will receive 2 GCSE Grades based on the combination of the 6 exams.

3 Separate science Your children will sit 6 science exams in total. 2 from each discipline (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). The length and marks available are shown in this example for Biology. They will receive 3 GCSE Grades, one for Biology, one for Chemistry and one for Physics.

5 When should revision start? How much should I do?
PPE exams are in November (and after Easter) Real exams will start in May Active revision - students can consolidate what they have learnt in science the same day using their revision guide!
