Ergonomic Designed with the technician in mind, the E-Lift does not require any strenuous activity on the part of the technician. The Buffer and Transfer chamber lids are kept in place by spring loaded toggle clamps. Once released, the technician guides the lids to where they are safely suspended above the monolith. This allows for easy access to the robot, slit doors, and cleaning of the chambers. Lids are suspended above the mainframe, this way there is no need to remove and store lids during maintenance. The lids are on independent pulley systems, so they can both be up at the same time.
