Fine Tune Image Fine tuning is applying effects to certain small parts of an image. Fine tuning includes darkening, lightening and saturating. One can use fine tuning to remove/modify certain parts of the image by applying different effects. You can also use Fine tuning to remove certain parts – like a logo from an image that you want to use for your site/blog. (In Photoshop, you use Clone Stamp Tool to do this). In gimp, you can use the clone tool.
