Entry Task: What three things should be included in an Objective?
Provide an example objective.
Target: Develop personal resume, which is professional and suitable for job seeking.

2. Objectives Review
Objective – A statement describing your career GOALS and the type of job you would like to be considered for.
Three Components:
1. Job Title/Position
2. Industry
3. Qualities (Specific Location!)

3. Example Objectives
To obtain a position as a sales associate at the Tacoma Nordstrom.
Seeking entry level position as store clerk at Safeway in DuPont, Washington.
Position as columnist for Time magazine, utilizing writing, research, and leadership skills
To obtain Barista position with the Starbucks corporation within Pierce County

4. Tips for Writing Objectives!
Be specific! – the more specific you are, the better your chances of being considered for the job
Do not use terms such as “Looking for…” “Want to be…” “Searching for…”
Instead use: “To obtain…”
Write the objective AFTER you know specifically what job position you want to apply for

Create the resume, be professional!
