Reminders:
This week is Santa’s Workshop. If your child plans on shopping, please send their money in an enclosed envelope with their name clearly printed on the outside. A pink shopping list was sent home last week to help your child spend their money wisely. If you need another one, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Teachers will be participating to caroling through the district to spread holiday cheer! Come out to sing along with your teachers and staff! I look forward to seeing all the smiling faces. 
Student’s should continue to work on Lexia, Zearn and IXL at home. We do use these programs at school, but a great way to help your child understand these sometimes tough concepts, is to work with them at home.

2. Study Tips Math: ELA: Social Living:
Sprint 13 is going home this week along with your child’s sprint graph. Please ensure your child is practicing their sprint weekly for 5 minutes 8 times by Friday.
This week we will continue to dive deeper in Module 4 in Math.
Students should complete Lessons 12 – 16 on Zearn by the end of the week.
ELA:
We will continue to read our novel “Dexter the Tough” throughout the week.
Students will continue to work on compare and contrast writing to help prepare for the 2nd 9 weeks benchmark assessment.
Social Living:
We will continue to explore how maps and globes can help us learn about our world, country, and state.
The students will also use maps to locate important land and water features in Louisiana.
Please utilize the study guide to help prepare for our upcoming Geography test.
