Ultraviolet is what give us a sunburn.

Now let’s just focus on the visible light part of the spectrum…
Visible light can come from the sun and other stars, electrical objects like bulbs, flames and lightning. We see the different wavelengths in visible light as color—red is the longest wavelength we can see and violet is the shortest.
