Information to Governing Faculty May 23, 2018

SEHS Strategic Goal: Improve Internal & External Communication.
To be implemented over the next three years. Four other priority areas also adopted to be interwoven in the goal of communication throughout the three years. Improve equity and justice. Enhance community relationships/partnerships. Enhance student experiences. Increase faculty and staff resources through more student enrollment and retention.

ACTION PLAN: SEHS Strategic Objectives:
Clarify and reconnect with Vision and Mission statements. Develop and enact more personalized, collaborative, horizontal and vertical, and two-way communication. Achieve greater transparency of information. Recognize the strongly preferred but incomplete reliance on s, and investigate the implications.

ACTION PLAN TIMELINE: Looking back from April 2019
Apr. 2019: Second Major Action Plan Iteration Prepared. Mar. 2019: Planning Committee Re-convenes to Evaluate Progress and Assess Methods to Improve Communications. Jan. – Mar. 2019: Work on Implementation of Final Action Plan Nov. 2018: Finalize Action Plan and Present to Dean. Oct. 2018: Joint Faculty and Staff Action Planning meeting.

Sep. 2018: Conduct student class focus groups with professor approval. Jun. 28, 2018, 1:30 – 2:30: SEHS Staff meeting May – Jun. 2018: Discuss Action Plan with Leadership. May – Jun. 2018: Interim Data Gathering Results Made Available.
