2. Find “Regional and Language Options” icon in Control Panel

3. Select “Languages”
Select “Install files for Eash Asian languages”
It may requires your OS CD
Accept system restart by click “Yes”

4. Control Panel
Regional Language Options
Languages
Click [Detail]

5. Click [Add]
Make the following selections:
Click OK

6. Select “Microsoft New Phonetic IME 2002a”
Click “Properties”

7. Keyboard Mapping

8. Select Keyboard Mapping, Click OK
Click Key Setting ..

9. Quick way to switch between English/Chinese Input
Change Key Sequence ..

10. Show soft Chinese Keypad
Select Chinese input (Left Alt + Shift)
Right-Click on the Language Icon “CH” Select “Restore the Language Bar”
Left-Click on “Tools” on the Language Bar
Select “Soft keyboard” in the drop-down menu

12. 輸入注音符號及幾聲
Press “Space bar” to show Chinese character
If the character shown is not the one you need, use Down-arrow to select the right character

13. Use “Language Icon” or “Language Bar” to switch language input
