A practical interactive workshop to empower you as a graduate practitioner to prepare for professional practice. At this practical interactive workshop you will learn about: - Making the most of yourself and your experience and marketing yourself. - Types of recruitment processes, i.e. CVs, application forms and short listing. - The support available from professional bodies, etc. - Maintaining readiness for work, innovative ideas.

Background
The Student to Practitioner one day event was developed to provide support for newly qualified and recently graduated clinicians in the transition from student to practitioner in their field. This initiative was developed through the National HSE Health & Social Care Professions Department, collaboratively with Organisation Design & Development, National Recruitment Service, manager representatives, professional bodies, university and voluntary body input and expertise.
