The word trial is defined as “a test of someone’s ability to do or endure something.”
Words such as tribulation, temptation, affliction, and problems are often associated with the word trial.

3. Trials of life can help strengthen one’s faith
James informs us that the testing of one’s faith produces patience. (James 1:2-3)
The trial of one’s faith is precious. (1 Pet. 1:3-9)
Do not be one who wavers during the trials of life. (Matt. 13:20-21)
Let’s all strive to be one who endures the trials of life. (Matt. 10:22)
